Jonathan S. Landis provides outside counsel advice and advocacy to small-to-medium sized businesses, emerging companies, startups, and entrepreneurs in highly regulated industries. He assists clients with company formation, contracts review, negotiations, intellectual property enforcement, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Bird Law Group, Jonathan’s experience included serving as the legal counsel for the state court of an independent nation in the Pacific region. His previous legal work includes both business litigation and corporate transactional law experience, regulatory compliance, and trademark registrations. He also served as an attorney for the 2012 Obama campaign.
Jonathan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he was the co-editor in chief of the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs. Jonathan is active in advocacy work, including service on the board of a nonprofit.
Jonathan is a native of California and enjoys the outdoors, involvement in local public affairs, and the occasional game of tennis.
