Cannabis Law

Cannabis Law

Bird Law Group has emerged as a leader in cannabis law in Southern California. We represent clients ranging from dispensaries and delivery services to manufacturers, cultivators, and distributors, as well as ancillary services in the cannabis industry. We focus on advising our cannabis clients on compliance with local and California law, assisting our clients with local licensing, and preparing our clients for state licensing in 2018.

Although Cannabis Law is an area of practice itself, it can also incorporate many of the other areas of practice Bird Law Group attorneys are experienced in. We take the experience in other practice areas and apply them to our extensive knowledge of the ever-changing cannabis laws, and assist you in being successful and compliant with current California law while preparing for the future.

Disclaimer: Participation in cannabis activity, even if fully compliant with California law, poses a risk. Cannabis is still a Schedule I drug under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. Federal law makes it a crime to, among other things, grow, sell, possess, manufacture, or distribute cannabis. Prosecution of these crimes could result in prison time, fines, or civil forfeiture of property. Please contact us for a thorough discussion of the risks.
